And haven’t stopped. 04: Our street stalls disappeared... sort of... from a couple of areas 05: We fell under a military regime 06: Italian food reached new levels 07: French bakeries happened 08: We went on actual nights out in Chinatown 09: Atelier Robuchon finally opened 10: But was beaten to it by a bunch of other Michelin chefs 11: Duangrit Bunnag invented a reason to cross the river 12: Craft beer became the only beer anyone drinks 13: Largely because cocktails were so expensive 14: Especially the barrel-aged ones, though they were delicious 15: We went crazy for kebabs 16: We started living slowly 17: Thailand got a proper music festival with camping and everything 18: Food trucks trucked into town 19: Burger standards got so good our old faves seemed inedible 20: Though they had stiff competition from Taiwanese buns 21: And people turned on Escapade 22: Cycling became so serious we invested in fly-wheels 23: Followed by proper running shoes 24: We started drinking cold brew 25: Everyone flew to Japan 26: Really, the amount of craft beer we drank was ridiculous 27: Farm-to-table was out; wilderness-to-table was in 28: We learned what omakase means 29: A machine learned to judge Thai food 30: Mariah Carey proved that somewhere in the world people still care about her 31: We swapped our New Balances for Nikes 32: Shouty men shouted exercise instructions at us from DVDs 33: Vintage Scandinavian got dumped for industrial American 34: We put down Monocle and picked up Kinfolk 35: Which taught us to hang dry flowers upside down and eat off chopping boards 36: No menu was complete without burrata 37: We didn’t buy any clothes at Siwilai.
