The UK-born music and art festival Wonderfruit has revealed the extended lineup for its first three-day event on Thai soil.
Headlining the main stage will be popular Swedish electronic act Little Dragon (watch one of their videos below), New Zealand seven-piece dub band Fat Freddy’s Drop, French experimental soloist Woodkid, NY nu-disco group Hercules and Love Affair, Swedish troubadour Jose Gonzalez, American hip-hop trio De La Soul, hip-hop DJ The Gaslamp Killer and British folk singer Nick Mulvey.
In what looks to be a very diverse lineup, British vocalist Francesca Lombardo will be supported by The Bangkok Philharmonic Orchestra while Thailand will also be represented by Maft Sai’s Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band and folk singer Hugo Julajak Jakrapong.
The Soi Stage will features dreamy garage band Yellow Fang, funk mogul Burin Boonvisut, ska big band T-Bone and the electronic duo Stylish Nonsense.
Other activities festivalgoers can expect include dining events in collaboration with David Thompson and SIngapore's Burnt Ends, art installations, film screenings and craft workshops (full schedule to be announced).
The festival is set for Dec 19-21 at The Fields at Siam Country Club, Chonburi with camping on site. Tickets are available at Thaiticketmajor at B6,000, B4,000 for aged under 20 and free entry for kids below 12 years old.
