September is getting off to a whopping start for foodies, with the World Gourmet Festival 2025 kicking off and new restaurants showing off their autumn menus. Every month, BK compiles a list of some wining and dining deals every month—from rare Armagnacs to lunch menus—so you can get the most out of the gimmicks and ideas that make this city’s scene so dynamic. So, here we go with September.
Chef Arne Riehn is back for another menu, this one providing a mix of European autumn flavors with Thai seasonal ingredients. Expect Thai produce mixed with Swiss tradition along with the style of high-end fare everyone expects from Igniv. This deal starts on Sep 1 and is available from 6-11pm at B5,500 per person, and the lunch, which was launched by Igniv earlier this year, is available from noon-3pm. More info here.
At the Speakeasy Rooftop Bar on Sept 4, they’re putting on a special serving of rare whiskies and Armagnacs, hosted by Michael Wigman and Vincent Cornu, complete with a five-course meal at B5,500. More info here.
TopGolf is a favorite party spot just outside the city and has been for a long time at this point. Now, they’re putting together a Party Pack for when you bring the crew. It’s a one-price deal with 1-2 hours of Topgolf gameplay, a featured menu, and drinks—all starting at B290—from Sep 1-Oct 31. It’s a pretty cool day out at a space this city just loves. On Sep 7,Chop Chop Cookshop will host well-known chef Andy Ricker for a one-night event showing off the talents from the Portland-based Pok Pok. The Michelin star chef will be cooking at this chic space with a curated selection of drinks from Beervana for B2,500—and how often do you get this level of food with Thai and American craft beers? Launching their lunch set menu earlier in August, the Aimée Petit Bistro is now featuring a French dining set menu for the lunch crowd. You have the option of two or three course set menus at B650 and B850 respectively, the latter including a dessert. It’s a chance to breakk up the midday with an indulgent bit of French fare. Afternoon tea has a bit of a reputation—and often not a good one. But, if you’re trying to go somewhere luxe with a little spice, St. Regis is partnering with Victoria’s Secret for a special afternoon tea inspired by Bare Sueded Vanilla Eau de Parfum, and patrons get a complimentary 3ml bottle of the Daring fragrance with this purchase. Opening on September 1, this will be your first chance to check out the Gin Library, a new offering from Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. This will be the first time they’re offering their Gin Flight Collection, which is a tasting journey through different aspects of gin, including “The Artisan Edit of Asia”, “The Heritage of Europe”, and more from both the Americas and the Pacific. The list of participants at the 25th Annual World Gourmet Festival from Sep 22-88 was recently unveiled—and boy is it a doozy. To be held at six different spots across Bangkok, you’ll find everyone from Eric Vildgaard of three-Michelin-star Jordnaer to our very own Chef Ton putting cooking up a storm. Available now and through the end of the year, Summer Palace, one of Bangkok’s best Chinese restaurants, is featuring an all-you-can-eat dim sum buffet at B1,150. These treats are prepared by Hong Kong natives executive chef Shui Wing Yau and dim sum chef Pui Kwan Chan. More info here.
Launching Sep 7, the new Sunday Social Lunch Buffet will feature a mix of fresh seafood, BBQ, and free-flow gin cocktails to pair with your live music. For B590 on the Chaophraya River, Sirimahannop will be serving a limited-time Peri Peri Chicken from Sep 5 to Oct 31. The floating buffet is a great one for tourists or just for a day out with the crew, and you can expect plenty of food shots to go with your Insta on your day at the river. Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, has a curated new menu with Jade Tiger Abalone, known for its taste and vibrant stripes. From Chef Oscar Pun, the deal will run from September through October, and features these delicious critters at B350 per piece.
You might already know the Sunday brunch at Viu, but starting September 7, they’re taking things up a notch with dishes built around a featured ingredient. For September, they’re putting crab center stage, coming to you from Chef Matteo Fontana. This brunch, priced at B3,500, kicks off at 12:30pm every Sunday. More info here.
