Experience guilt-free Thai fine dining at Bo.lan’s WWF charity dinner
Top chefs come together in aid of WWF’s elephant conservation project.
Want to lose the guilt next time you wine and dine? Then head to Bo.lan this Feb 25, when chefs Bo and Dylan will be hosting “WWF Charity Dining – A Night for Thai Elephants.”
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) has been operating in Thailand since 1995 and has recently launched the country’s first elephant collaring exercise. The project will allow them to study the movement of Thai elephants in order to reduce the risk of human-elephant conflict, especially in areas designated for development and agriculture.
The six-course dinner (B3,800++) will be prepared by an all-star team including chef Prin Polsuk previously of Nahm, chef Garima Arora from Gaa, chef Chalee Kader of 100 Mahaseth, chef Napol Jantraget and chef Saki Hoshino of 80/20 and chef Num Triyasenawat of Samuay & Sons. You can expect dishes like curry puffs with spicy banana blossom and sweet black banana sauce, and northern braised beef rib curry with coriander and herbs.
Diners will also have the chance to learn more about the project as well as issues facing wildlife conservationists and the potential solutions. All proceeds will go towards World Wild Fund For Nature’s elephant tracking project.
Feb 25, 6pm. Bo.lan, 24 Sukhumvit Soi 53. Contact 026-184-3035 ext.102-105 & 109 for reservations. B3,800++/person (plus additional B4,500 for wine pairing).
