Buzzing Phrom Phong restaurant Mia welcomes guest chef Davide Garavaglia, former chef de cuisine of three-Michelin-starred Mirazur in Menton, France, for its first event in a series of guest chef shifts this Mar 11.

Garavaglia spent four years in the kitchen at Mirazur, which recently ranked number one on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. To the benefit of us all, he has now moved to Bangkok to open Côte by Mauro Colagreco, which will be located at the Capella Bangkok when it opens along the Chao Phraya River this year

He’ll be teaming up with Top Russell and Michelle Goh, the couple behind one of Bangkok’s best new restaurants in 2019. The three chefs, blending Russell’s modern European approach and Goh’s awesome desserts with Garavaglia’s Mediterranean influences, will be serving up an eight-course tasting menu (B3,650/person) with one-off dishes that include a pea tartlet with lemon thyme and smoked curd, hand-dived scallops with calamansi and a green curry veloute of lamb that will be served three ways.

There will also be a special wine pairing (B1,600/person) curated by sommelier Guillaume Celante from Vanichwathana, an importer and distributor of rare and fine wines from around the world.

Seating starts at 6pm. For reservations, call 02-258-6745 or email reservations@miarestaurantbkk.com
