FESTIVALS
Wedding planner
Rainforest, known for organizing glitzy weddings for celebrities, is bringing the ramshackle wooden shophouses in Hua Takhe Old Market to life with floral art installations, free flower-related workshops and stalls selling reasonably-priced flowers and plants from farmers. Check
Facebook for the schedule. While you're there, be sure to check out some of the highlights from our Hua Takhe
photo walk, too.
Through Aug 4. Hua Takhe Old Market, Lad Krabang Soi 17. Open daily 10am-6pm

This photographic portrait series was born from a scanning error. It features distorted images of old glass negatives taken by late Phuket-based photographer Liang Ewe between 1964-1968, creating the sense that the subjects are trapped in another dimension.
Head to Ekkamai’s Spanish joint to check out this series of acrylic portraits on canvas, which explore exceptional, revolutionary and controversial women of modern history. Meanwhile on Jul 11, the restaurant will be hosting a Galicia-style "
Pulpo a Feira," or octopus party.
Jul 9. Broken Eggs, 112/7 Sukhumvit Soi 63 (Ekkamai), 02-047-7811
This politically-charged showcase invites the six Thai artists who exhibited in the build up to the coup
