If you want to escape from the overflowing shopping malls and jam-packed new cafes over the weekend, you can travel to Lad Krabang to see this installation by the canal.

 

From Jul 4 to Aug 4, wedding planner Rainforest, known for organizing glitzy weddings for celebrities, will be bringing the ramshackle wooden shophouses in Hua Takhe Old Market to life with “RakDok Floral Week(s).”

 

This installation will feature art pieces by both Rainforest and art students in the community, such as flowers glued on fishing nets and leaves painted with vibrant colors. On the weekends and public holidays, you can also participate in free flower-related workshops and purchase reasonably-priced flowers and plants from farmers.
