Three of Bangkok’s indie event heavyweights will join forces for the debut Maho Rasop festival this November.

Gig promoters Have You Heard?, Seen Scene Space and music streaming service slash online music zine Fungjai are behind the one-day festival, which will take place at Live Park Rama 9 on Nov 17.

The organizers are teasing the prospect of more than 15 alternative music acts from both home and abroad, with the full lineup to be announced at a later date.

For those feeling lucky, the first phase of 200 tickets are available now from Ticketmelon, lineup unseen, at B1,990.

For the uninitiated, Seen Seen Space and Have You Heard? are two of Bangkok’s busiest gig promoters. The former has been responsible for bringing out a slew of post-rock acts like The Fin, Mono and, soon, This Will Destroy You (Sep 16). Have You Heard?, for their part, will present Anderson .Paak (Jul 23) and Mac DeMarco (Aug 1) in the coming weeks, hot on the heels of concerts by Devendra Banhart and Suuns.

Since launching as a music streaming service in 2015, Fungjai has established itself as one of the biggest supporters of the local indie scene through its regular news, reviews and interviews, as well as concerts of its own (read our interview with co-founder Sarun “Top” Pinyarat here).

No word yet on just who’ll be on the lineup, but judging from some of the names appearing on Have You Heard?’s Facebook page we may have reason to be excited—let the speculation begin!
