Piseth Pop-up at Smalls with Chef Steve Doucakis

On Thursday, Smalls' pop-up series welcomes chef Steve Doucakis (formerly of Bunker and Top Chef Thailand contestant), who will present you his new dining concept, Piseth (meaning “special” in Thai), which will see a menu of seasonal plates using local ingredients all priced at B200. Expect creative flavors that draw on a mix of his stateside childhood and Thai tastes, like the braised beef tongue with Chiang Mai mustard greens and corn miso (B200), or the chicken liver mousse with sourdough and kumquats (B200). Aladdin Night at Aesop's

On Saturday, Aesop's is hosting an Aladdin-themed night, complete with a tarot reader, a treasure hunt, prizes and giveaways by the Genie with his magic lamp. Fancy dress is optional. Royal Thai Wisdom & Boutique Wine Dinner

This Saturday, R-Haan's chef Chumpol Jangprai is serving a special tasting menu, complete with wine-pairing by FIN Wine (Fabulous is Needed). On July 4, Siwilai City Club welcomes to the kitchen Andy Ricker, a two-time James Beard Award winner, cookbook author and owner of Pok Pok Restaurants in Portland.
