Sathorn's experimental fusion joint, Ocken, has just launched an awesome new brunch menu that encourages you to come hungry and ready to share. Now infamous treats like the OcMuffin (B260) have been joined by other equally comforting bites like the crispy fish burger (B280)—a luxe take on McDonald's Fillet-O-Fish with battered sea bass, melted American cheese and mouthwatering preserved lemon tartar sauce, all sandwiched between a soft brioche bun. 

For something meatier and packed with flavor, the grilled Cubano sandwich (B340) combines juicy mojo (citrus-garlic) marinated pork shoulder, ham and salami with fiery mustard and pickles for the perfect accompaniment to a smoked bloody Mary (B280), while the 28-day dry-aged Thai Angus striploin (B1,450) comes with twice-cooked duck fat fries, green peppercorn sauce and a sunny side up egg. 

Lighter additions like the colorful tomato salad (B460) with creamy burrata, crunchy toasted buckwheat, sour pops of smoked bottarga (salted, cured fish roe) and zesty finger lime are sure to leave you feeling fresh, especially when followed up by the French-style en papillote sea bass (B720), which sees the fish encased in parchment with mussels, clams, fennel, saffron butter, smoked fish bone broth, zucchini and cherry tomatoes before being baked and steamed to perfection. 

Make sure you leave room for dessert because the rosemary panna cotta (B280) is a unique and refreshing delight, subtly laced with the aromatic herb and served in a picture perfect glass with icy and citrusy shiso granita, cherry sorbet and natural poached cherries. Feel like hogging out? Then get the sticky toffee pudding (B320), a hefty plate of sinful date pudding topped with crunchy pecans and balanced out by tangy cream cheese and palate cleansing green apple sorbet. 

The bottomless house coffee (B140) is the perfect antidote for a hangover, though breakfast-friendly cocktails like the iced Irish coffee (B380) and bellini (B280) are ideal for a hair-of-the-dog session.
