In celebration of being named Asia's Best Female Chef 2017, May Chow visits Little Bao Bangkok and teams up with three of Bangkok’s top chefs this Feb 19 to host a special six-dishes-plus-four-drinks dinner. Black Ivory Coffee Stout Release and Fundraiser

This Feb 22 at Mikkeller is the world release party for the new Mikkeller Black Ivory Coffee Stout, brewed with the world’s rarest and most expensive coffee, from Black Ivory Coffee. On top of a 30-liter keg on tap from 5pm, there will be a limited amount of 750ml bottles, nitro and syphon coffee. The total profits will be donated to the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation.

Two Michelin-Starred Italian Chef at Wine Pub

Wine Pub welcomes Italian chef Valentino Marcattilii from two-Michelin-starred San Domenico in Bologna this Feb 22-25. You’ll have a chance to sample some of the restaurant’s classics including the San Domenico egg in raviolo (raviolo with an oozing egg yolk) among other home-style traditional Italian dishes. Thailand Coffee Fest 2017

From Feb 23-26, Specialty Coffee Association of Thailand (SCATH) organizes Thailand’s biggest coffee event at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event showcases full circle of coffee business, from coffee roasters, machines to shops and franchises. Jess Barnes is Back

After parting ways with Sapparot group (Lady Brett, Rocket) last year, chef Jess Barnes has largely disappeared from Bangkok food circles. But this Feb 24-25 the hipster food pioneer's back popping up in the kitchen at Sathorn's Sorrento. Here, there'll be no bao buns in sight. Instead, the chef will be getting back to his Italian cooking roots. Going back well before his Opposite Mess Hall became the stuff of Bangkok legend, Barnes kickstarted his culinary career at InterContinental’s defunct Grossi restaurant, where he worked for over seven years. For two nights only the chef will whip up dishes like pesce crudostrozzapreti rabbit nduja, crab ravioli and campari granita, all available to order a la carte.

The first Bangkok Gourmet Festival gathers Thai and international chefs, collectively owning a total of 10 Michelin stars.
