Choi Choi

At this recent opening in On Nut, Korean chef-slash-owner Doo Hyeok Choi serves up traditional Korean-style wings inspired by his years in the restaurant business. The fried chicken (from B199) is his own recipe, and are topped with an array of sauces alongside light bites like picked daikon, kimchi and fermented bean sprouts.

Fatty's Bar and Diner

This classic dive bar is popular for its expansive selection of imported beers, live jams and American bar staples. While the burgers often take the limelight. Fatty's does have more to offer, including some buffalo-style wings (6 pieces for B110, 12 pieces for B190). Lathered in hot sauce, these juicy wings pack quite a punch that you cut wiith an accompanying blue cheese dip (if need be). What could be better? Visit on "Wing Wednesday" for only B10/piece.

Little Bao

Best known for its modernized take on Chinese classics, this Hong Kong import recently added Korean-style chicken wings to its specials list. The so-called "K-Wings" (B290) have proven so popular they are now on the menu permanently. The wings are dredged in a vodka-cornflour mixture and then deep-fried to a perfect crispness before being lathered in a sweet-and-spicy sauce made from gochujang (a Korean condiment of fermented soybeans with chili and salt) and nam yu (Chinese bean curd fermented in red rice and wine).

Roadhouse Barbecue

Known for smoking almost every meat that comes out of their kitchen, this old-school barbecue joint is the place to go if you're a hardcore carnivore. Sekai No Yamachan

This izakaya chain with over 60 branches worldwide specializes in mountains of golden tebasaki, or Nagoya-style fried chicken wings. There are two types of chicken on the menu: the original maboroshino tebasaki (B130/5 pieces) and the kuro tebasaki (B95/3 pieces). The former are peppery and salty with just a hint of spiciness, while the latter taste like they’ve been doused in Worcestershire sauce. Wash it all down with the all-you-can-drink beer, sake and shochu deal (B499/90 minutes).

The Smokin' Pug

Silom's beloved barbecue specialist goes beyond racks of juicy ribs and cut-price cocktails. The smoked buffalo wings (B250) are brined, smoked and tossed in a house-made buffalo sauce, and served with buttermilk ranch or Chiang Rai blue cheese dipping sauce.

This late-night beer bar serves up some 50 flavors of wings (B150/6 pieces; B230/10 pieces), including out-there picks like smoked chocolate or maple BBQ. Fear not, you'll also find classics like spicy ranch and garlic black pepper, too. Head there on Thursdays and Sundays for the B300 all-you-can-eat wings deal, or Mondays when B50 gets you a pound of wings.

Wing N' Thing

This tiny spot on the corner of Phra Athit-Phra Sumen Road offers a menu of spicy fried chicken alongside some serious gin cocktails. Their crispy wings (B160-560 for 6-24 pieces) come in original, hot and spicy, and barbecue flavors. Each set is accompanied by your choice of eight dipping sauces, from Jack Daniel’s barbecue sauce and cheese dip to Thai-inspired basil caramel, tom yum mayo and “chili from hell” spicy sauce.
