BANGKOK RESTAURANT

Choi Choi

Crispy Korean-style fried chicken in Onnut.

At Choi Choi, chef-owner Doo Hyeok Choi serves up crispy Korean-style fried chicken.

Combining his food-industry-family background with his experience in Korean restaurant kitchens, he developed his own recipes for the fried chicken (from B119) and accompanying sauces.

On top of other familiar finds like kimchi soup (B215) and bibimbap (mixed rice, B205), you should try the sister bibim guksu (mixed noodles, B195), served cold with a house-made, gochujang-based sauce, as well as the crispy-crust ttokochi (fried rice cake with sweet and sour sauce, B35).

Side dishes like kimchi, stir-fried potatoes and pickles are made in-house and refillable. Stay tuned for more items, including bingsu (Korean-style shaved ice) and soju cocktails.
