These new spots put the focus on veggies, superfoods and clean bites.

Farmfactory

Silom Complex’s new salad-only joint hails from Phuket. The organic veggies are sourced both locally and from overseas, and matched with the brand’s own range of dressings. Menu highlights include Avocobb  (B159/B239), which features a full bowl of crispy greens, carrot, sun-dried tomatoes, corn, pecan, avocado, quinoa, garlic bread and avocado dressing. You can, of course, also customize your own salad from B119. Freshly made cold-pressed juices are priced at B125.

Brekkie

Despite the name, Brekkie goes well beyond breakfast to serve healthier options of hearty dishes all day long. Ingredients like quinoa, avocado, spirulina, flaxseed, acai berry and chia seed dominate the menu in dishes like tom yum fried rice with quinoa (B285), avocado toast (B240) and acai smoothie bowl (B260) topped with house-made granola and chia seed. It’s not a “clean food” joint, though. The menu also includes fries (B150), though these are made from home-cut organic sweet potatoes, and a Reuben sandwich (B340), featuring house-made sauce, sour-caramelized cabbages and rye bread. Don’t miss the whole-wheat pancake (B200), topped with ricotta cheese and coconut butterscotch.

Seems there’s a new way to get your vitamins and nutrients. This Japanese dessert cafe specializes in cutesy treats made from fruit and veggies, plus all-natural, premium ingredients—resulting in half the calories you’d usually expect. Top picks include the black sesame rocket mousse (B145), yardlong bean cake (B165) and cauliflower tiramisu (B175). Don’t miss the genius red capsicum cheesecake (B165). Organika

Thai spa brand Organika has taken over the top two stories above D’Ark in Sukhumvit Soi 49’s Piman 49 complex and transformed the space into a white-washed, botanical haven. One floor is dedicated to a spa, while the top-floor cafe features health-focused food created by Chalee Kader (of Surface, The Beer Bridge and Knock), including the hearty chicken garden salad (chicken breast, avocado, poached egg, tomato, beetroot and subtle Indian curry powder, B400). The brand also plays around with scents in its own tea blends (B295/pot).

Absolute Fit Food Cafe

One of the pioneers of Bangkok’s clean eating scene is the food arm of the Absolute wellness empire (also known for their yoga and Pilates studios). The low-calorie recipes include the superfood-heavy spicy zucchini quinoa salad and green curry quinoa risotto (both B280) as well as leafy options like Thousand Island salad with salmon (B220). There are also guilt-free desserts like blueberry chocolate tart (B180), made using spelt flour instead of wheat, with cocoa powder, blueberry, almond and coconut oil. On top of freshly squeezed juices (B150), tea from TE is available at B150/pot.

Veganerie Concept

After debuting as a vegan dessert cafe a little more than a year ago, Veganerie now runs this diner, serving savory dishes that go beyond salads. Offerings include zucchini pasta (B250) with tomato sauce and vegan sausage, pulled pork burger (B290) made with mushrooms, and chicken massaman curry (B230) served with air-fried roti. Veganerie’s signature desserts are all here, too, like the cashew nut paste-based cheese pies (B140) and waffles (B165) as well as smoothies (B140-165).
