Where to try the city’s latest dessert trend.

Move over croffles, Basque burnt cheesecake, and matcha: Biscoff is here to steal your thunder. Bangkok’s latest dessert fad comes courtesy of Belgian biscuit brand Lotus Biscoff, or just Biscoff, known for its crunchy spiced cookies and nut-free cookie spread. Never had their products or have a serious case of FOMO? Here are some places you can try it in Bangkok.

The master pastry chefs here specialize in unique treats made with Asian and Middle-Eastern influences. Their Biscoff tres leches cake (B1,150/4 slices, B2,200/8 slices, B1,700/full tray), topped with fresh Chantilly cream, crushed biscuits, and toasted pecans, bucks those influences, but it has nevertheless taken Bangkok dessert fiends by storm. You can also get a Biscoff cheesecake (B1,850/pound) with cookie butter glaze, Chantilly cream rosettes, and Biscoff crumb.
21/100 Sathorn Rd., 098-532-8719. Delivery is available within metropolitan Bangkok via Line, Instagram, or their website

This new ice cream brand is churning out delectable flavors. As it happens, their Biscoff cookie frozen yogurt (B80/cup, B299/pint) is their best-seller, too. The cookie-flavored ice cream is made with Italian yogurt and then laced with Biscoff spread and cookie chunks.

Molto Gelato

Molto Gelato houses some outrageous-sounding, limited-edition flavors like Bailey’s Irish cream, Kyoho and Shine Muscat grape, and vanilla with French’s yellow mustard (seriously). It should come as no surprise they also make a yogurt Biscoff flavor. The tangy yogurt base is laced with Biscoff sauce and crunchy biscuits to give it some bite (all B280/pint; limited supply).

This shop with branches in EmQuartier, Gump’s, and Siam Square One specializes in Greek yogurt and frozen yogurt. Its oh-so-good salted Biscoff swirl (B350/pint; B600/2 pints) is a red-hot seller that pretty much demands pre-ordering. The frozen yogurt base gets jazzed up with salted caramel swirls and Biscoff biscuits. If you can’t get your hands on this, go for their signature Death by Chocolate or new Fudgy Malteser Madness.

This cottage-like cafe-slash-pastry house deals in fancy croissants and cronuts. Or, as they call them, fridos—donuts made from croissant dough. Acquaint yourself with both fridos and Biscoff with their chocolate and Earl Grey frido (B199), which is topped with chocolate and Earl Grey ganache, homemade caramel cream, and a Biscoff cookie. Wash it down with an iced mocha (B120) to elevate the sugar rush.
