Turn on, tune in after working from home.

Marvel geeks, Star Wars cult followers and Disney princess enthusiasts can ready their wallets, as Disney has finally announced the price range for its Disney+ services.

At a press conference held on Tuesday afternoon, Disney+ Hotstar unveiled subscription costs of THB799 (US$25.60) per year or THB99 (US$3.17) per month. One account can stream concurrently to two devices.

Those who use AIS for their mobile phone provider are offered a promotional rate of THB35 (US$1.12) per month. More details are available online.

Disney+ will reach Thai viewers June 30, according to Disney CEO Robert Chapek last month.

The brand, Disney+ Hotstar, is a partnership between Disney+ and AIS, Thailand’s top mobile and internet service provider. An online community on Facebook dubbed Disney+ Hotstar Thailand, launched to share information about the highly anticipated streaming channel, has so far garnered more than 87,000 members.

The streaming service will offer more than 700 movies and 10,000 episodes of series from popular studios such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic and 20th Century Studios.

Prior to its launch in Thailand, Disney+ so far has only been available in three Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
