Singapore's first spa co-op franchise promises very affordable treatments
Immanuel Beauty has just launched a cooperative spa business model—the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.
It's not just you bemoaning the cost of a decent massage or face mask. Spa businesses feel the pinch of high overheads, too. But with a unique spa cooperative business model, Immanuel Beauty enables experienced beauty and wellness therapists to start their own businesses at minimal costs. What does that mean for you? Why, cheap spa treatments, of course.
Immanuel Beauty provides management expertise, administrative support and treatment machines—all the business operator needs to do is to move in and fork out a franchise fee, along with monthly rental costs (which are supposedly kept below $2,000).
Treatment prices at Immanuel Beauty are also pleasantly low—a 60-minute body massage costs $98, while a 60-minute Detox & Brightening Facial will set you back just $68. We went and had a look, and while facilities aren't quite as luxe as what you'd get from other big-name spas, they're good—plus, where else will you find prices like these?
The franchise already has outlets at Forum The Shopping Mall and PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road, and is slated to open a third at Sin Ming in May. The brand also has plans to expand to ten outlets within the next 12 months, so watch this space for more updates.
