Developing the B
Adding to buzzing Phra Khanong’s GOJA Gallery and HOF Art Space, On Nut’s Brownstone Studio will officially be unveiled as a new art venue this Saturday. The opening exhibition, Developing the B, promises a thrilling clash of music and art with artists like Soichiro Shimizu and Joe Delaney performing alongside musician Tommy Hanson.

Reuben Wu (Ladytron) DJ Set
British musician Reuben Wu, who writes, produces and plays keyboard for electronic band Ladytron returns to Bangkok for another DJ set, along with support from DJ Supersonic (Superrzaap!).

Buck Wild 2014
The international hip-hop night features Japanese DJ Anarchy, DJs Biggie and Joe Flizzow from Malaysia and Suboi + Kimmese from Vietnam, who will play alongside local DJs Dandee, Tob and Tony B, with special guests Way Thaitanium, Twopee, Take-T, Big P and Coga.

If names like Clouds and Pebbles, Cookie Monsters and Kyo by Kyo Roll get you going, head down to Gateway Ekkamai this weekend for the first Bangkok Bakers Festival, where many top Bangkok bakeries will be serving up their sweet treats.

Three dance companies will join forces for the Butoh Bangkok mini fest at the new Thong Lor Art Space this weekend. Renovations of the old shophouse have been completed and it’s now ready to play host to butoh performances by Hungarian artist Kerek Istvan, plus Sonoko Prow and the local Khandha Arts’n Theatre Company.

Celebrating its 30 anniversary, the Thai Film Archive is hosting its first ever Silent Film Festival in Thailand, selecting seven films to be screened and accompanied by renowned pianists Maud Nelissen (Netherlands) and Mie Yanashita (Japan).

The 2nd Queen Sirikit Half Marathon
To celebrate Mother’s Day, the popular city race offers four distances: 21km, 10.5km, 6.8km and 1.8km, around the Sukhumvit and Rama 4 Road. Every finisher gets jasmine flowers.
