ART

BrandNew 2013 Art Project
Art enthusiasts, someone’s done some scouting for you. The team behind the BrandNew 2013 Art Project, which contributed to the emergence of several hot young artists, this year selects five up-and-coming artists that you should keep your eye on. Check them out for yourself when their works go on display at not one but three galleries: BUG, WTF and Numthong. Curated by Isabel Ching.

Stemming from an inititiative from the Department of Avant-Garde Cliches (DAGC, Manila), this visual arts exhibition looks to explore the term "queer" in different social contexts through the work of 25 artists from Manila and Bangkok, including Tada Hengsapkul, Maitree Siriboon, Dennis Balk, Jon Cuyson, Partick Cruz and party collective Trasher Bangkok.

Knowledge is Everything (from Feb 8)
