Want to mix up your dining routine this holiday season? Here are 8 restaurants at Siam Paragon worth your time
You’ll need a bite in between all of that shopping anyway
Phuket just got another new swanky luxury hotel right in the heart of Phuket Town. Courtyard by Marriott, one of 30 hospitality brands part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, will be the 48th Marriott-backed hotel in the country, has 248 rooms, and sits just 40 minutes away from the province's main airport.
The hotel is decked out with traditional Thai arts and crafts, sourced from local artisans, and a signature southern Thai restaurant if you are dying to get all that spicy goodness. If you are curious, the hotel is indeed SHA-certified.
For more info on the new spot, check out their website.
Quality seafood platters are basically a license to print money in this town, so round up your friends and family, because we got another one for you.
Phra Nakhon, the riverside restaurant at Capella Bangkok, has just launched its new Sunday Seafood Lunch (B3,531/person, B1,170/child under 12 years old) and it promises to be a doozy. The feast includes tons of delicious seafood platters and live cooking stations packed with Thai and Western favorites.
We’re talking lobster, Fine de Claire oysters, prawns, and king crabs. Or, if you are feeling up for some unique Thai flavors, try the cooked-to-order recipes derived from the Rattanakosin era, including aromatic curries and smoky wok-fried classics. The chefs prepare the meats and seafood on a Hibachi grill cooking station (like roasted wagyu on the bone), and a few of the dishes are prepared tableside.
Wanna wash all the goodness down with a frosty beverage? Free-flow non-alcoholic drinks from B1,000/person.
Phra Nakhon’s Seafood Lunch will be available every other Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. The upcoming events will happen on Nov 7 and 21 and on Dec 19.
If you want to book a table or get more info, email [email protected] or call 02-098-3888.

Capella Bangkok's waterfront tea lounge (it’s literally called The Tea Lounge by the way) has reopened with a new afternoon high tea experience. Haven’t had a chance to check it out yet? Give this a look.
The high tea offering includes premium black, white, green, and oolong varieties, along with fresh herbal and floral infusions. But if you want to step things up a notch, The Tea Lounge also includes a set of “Connoisseur’s Teas'' handpicked from the hills of southern China and northern Thailand. They will customise your choice of tropical and botanical blends. If you want to get tipsy in style (bubbly, please!) the lounge stocks a signature Diamant Champagne, bottled exclusively for the hotel by the Vranken Pommery house. Of course, this comes with a pile of tasty treats, too. Capella’s award-winning pastry chef, Sylvain Constans, has created a signature high tea experience that starts with a tea and herb trolley, a selection of savories, handcrafted scones, tarts, pastries and cakes (there’s even more than this).
The Capella Signature High Tea Experience is B1,500 per person, and the Signature High Tea & Champagne version is B2,500. The lounge itself is open from 2-6pm daily.
There is also a Tea Lounge Delivery service to bring all of this sophisticated goodness directly to your door if that is more realistic for you.
There are limited seats available. To ensure you get a booking, make a reservation with the contact info below.
