Turn your long weekend into a luxury getaway with this awesome deal at a Phuket luxury resort
Trisara Phuket’s new “Rao Tiew Duay Kan” campaign can score you between B3,000 and B15,000 off.
Five-star resorts are a thing of the past. How about a six-star hotel? Ever tried one of those? (Yes, six-stars is indeed a real certification with over 1,700 criteria.) Well, now is your chance, and you don’t have to be a Saudi oil prince to pay the bill.
Trisara, a gorgeous six-star resort in Phuket owned by Montara Hospitality Group, is launching its “Tiew Pun Suk’s Rao Tiew Duay Kan” campaign, which offers up to B3,000 discounts on rooms per night (up to B15,000 total).
The resort is also offering a special “Trisara Villa Escape” package, starting from B14,805. It includes a stay in a pool villa with a stunning ocean view on a private beach in Phuket, breakfast for two, a round trip airport transfer and a B600 voucher to be used at the resort’s F&B outlets, including PRU, Phuket’s only one-Michelin-star restaurant.
Reservations can be made from July 18 to Oct 28, 2020 for stays between July 21 and Oct 31, 2020.
To register, visit:
Website: www.เราเที่ยวด้วยกัน.com (until Oct 31, and use the “TTogether” for Discount Code if you are making a reservation on www.trisara.com instead).
Guests can also redeem their “Rao Tiew Duay Kan” privileges and book the package by calling +66 76 683 320, or by reaching out via Line @Trisararesort, https://lin.ee/mMUkaGO, or Facebook Messenger m.me/trisaraphuket and [email protected].
People always like to blab on and on about how Bangkok is the artistic, cultural and business hub of the country. While this is true in a general sense, there are more than enough cool things happening in the start-up space outside of Bangkok.
There are plenty of SME’s, OTOP SMEs (sub-district-based businesses) and student community enterprises throughout the country’s northern region. Now, the Northern Digital Economy conference aims to unite those players under one roof and provide a educational and networking experience that specifically tailors to entrepreneurs in the north.
One of the most important topics to be discussed is, as you might have guesses, how small businesses can use new technology to their advantage. There will be workshops hosted by local business leaders, as well as consultation teams to work with owners individually.
You can apply to be a part of the conference from today until July 31. There is no charge (it’s all free) if you apply before July 31.
If you want to find out more information, and download the application form, you can do that here. (All the materials are in Thai language.)

These days, everyone is in a mad scramble to move things online. Brick-and-mortar stores are just now coming back into the fold, but with the shutdown of nearly everything causes by the pandemic, and the realization it could happen again, a lot of brands are rethinking the way they approach customers online.
Another Story, the Bangkok concept store that gathers designer products from all over the world, just recently launched its website and e-shop, and, frankly, this is what a lot of brands should be doing.
First, let’s get the tech superlatives out of the way—it has a clean design, sharp mobile spacing, quick load times, and the journey from seeing something you like and actually buying it is painless. One of our favorite features is the “Instagram Picks” section, which are basically mini-lookbooks (presented IG-style). Click on one of the looks you like, and you can start shifting through the products, from there it’s about two clicks to buying the thing you want.
Shopping the traditional way is just as simple, with the website broken down into sub-sections like you are used to. Finding sub-categories is easy, and we absolutely love the “Bangkokian” section that stocks local designers.
But what takes the website to another level for us (and this is really the part more brands should follow) is the “Stories” section. It’s basically a mini-media website, with all kind of relevant content written about trends, style tips, home decor and other topics to keep your creative juices flowing. It gives us a reason to go back to the website regularly, not just when we want to buy something. The stories do focus on the brand itself, but in a tasteful way, like this piece about how one of the French soap brands has evolved their product over the years.
It’s a straight-up good website if you are shopping for clothes, decor, tech, or just some ideas. Check it out.

One of the most pristine wellness resorts in Koh Samui, Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa, is dishing out some tempting offers to lure you out of smoggy Bangkok for a vacation done right — surrounded by nature and a beautiful private beach. The resort, with 76 rooms, villas and suites, is found on a lush patch of jungle on the south-eastern coast of Koh Samui, making for a serene setting to kick back and forget about the outside world. It’s decked out exactly as you would expect a wellness resort to be. There’s three F&B venues, Soma (for breakfast and dinner), Amrita (lunch and snacks), and the Alchemy Lounge (Tea, coffee, smoothies, and snacks). There’s also one lap pool, two leisure pools, two steam caverns, three fitness facilities, and two yoga pavilions — so you got your fitness covered.
On top of all that, there are tons of optional wellness programs if you need to clear your head or detox your body. The programs deal with everything from stress and burnout (something everyone at BK has experienced) to emotional balance, detox and ideal weight, or just how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The latest program, called "Immunity & Resilience", launched in June of this year and focuses on supporting physical health, strength and balancing heart and mind.

Now is the time to get out of the city, or at least get out of your house or apartment. We’ve all been inside too long, right? We should all still be practicing social distancing and proper health precautions, but, for most of us, a nice change in scenery is in order.
To help you scratch that itch, Marriott International is offering it’s Summer Dreaming promotion. Here’s the headline: up to 50-percent off some of the best hotels in the company’s portfolio. What’s better is that you also get a daily B1,000 restaurant and resort credit wherever your stay. When we say “wherever”, we mean it. There are 42 hotels offering the same promotion, take a look at the list below. Pretty much anywhere in Thailand you could want to go, down south, up north, hiding away in Bangkok, it’s all covered.
If you are looking for a staycation in Bangkok, you can check out the deals and make a reservation here.
If you want digs outside of our great big city, you can see those here.
