Phrom Phong’s chocolate hub 31 Degrees by Kad Kokoa is hosting two chocolate and sake pairing events (with two very different vibes) next Thursday, Oct 6, and Sunday, Oct 9.

 

Next Thursday, at 6:30pm, there will be a sake pairing dinner with food by Bocuse d’Or Thailand, which is part of the world culinary competition founded in 1987 and sees 24 of the planet’s top young chefs duke it out for food supremacy. With that in mind, you can expect the dishes to be meticulously prepared and crafted to competition-level standards. The evening will cost you B2,800 for five courses with five sakes pairings, but you can get a 10-percent discount when booking before Oct 5.

 

On Oct 9, from 2-3:30pm, there will be a pairing of five types of chocolate with sakes and pastries to snack on. That one will set you back B1,290 per person, but again if you book before Oct 8 you’ll get 10-percent off.
