This Nov 1-3, Bangkok Music City 2019 (BMC) will descend on Charoenkrung with what could be likened to a music trade show.

Co-founded by music streaming service and online music zine Fungjai, the event will take place at Charoenkrung's TCDC, as well as various other venues in the surrounding area, including Speedy Grandma, Soy Sauce Factory, FooJohn and To More. It will encompass a conference—with speakers from Wonderfruit, Fungjai, Big Mountain Music Festival and Speakerbox, among others—and a music showcase featuring over 70 local and international artists. Beyond the obvious entertainment factor, the three-day festival seeks to promote music as a key driving force for Thailand's economy and tourism, as well as acting as a networking ground for international music businesses and musicians. It is set to become an annual celebration of Thailand's music scene.
