UPDATE: On Feb 28, Hyukoh announced they will be postponing thier concert due to the coronavirus outbreak in Thailand. Viji Corp will be refunding tickets in full via Ticketmelon until Mar 13. The organizer has stated that the new event date will be July 7,2020.
After kick-starting 2020 with American folktronica group Bon Iver, local promoters Viji Corp are keeping the momentum building by bringing in Korean indie stars Hyukoh.
After playing two sold-out shows in 2017 and 2018, the rockers known for tracks like “Wi Ing Wi Ing,” “Come and Goes” and “Tomboy” will return to perform another live performance in Bangkok on Mar 31 at Lad Phrao’s Moonstar Studio 8. That’s suddenly a red-hot destination—both Bon Iver and Rex Orange County are playing at Moonstar Studio in 2020.
Originally from Korea, Hyukoh formed in 2014 with four members Ohhyuk, Doggeon, Hyumjae and Inwoo. Their tracks mostly explore the zeitgeist-defining feeling of being young, wild and free yet empty and lonely at the same time. Beyond their unique music style, the band has also gained fame in both Korea and abroad for their live performances and fashion.
Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmelon at B2,300.
