Bangkok's favorite Scandinavian chic cafe Rocket is turning 3, and to celebrate it's offering coffees at 3 baht for three days (Jun 27-29) at all its branches. 

Sound like a sweet deal? Believe us, you're not alone. This morning, Rocket's five locations were swarming with in-the-know bargain-seekers.

At Rocket X Affogato Bar, EmQuartier, where the promotion ran from 10am-12pm, there was a queue at least 15-strong with our source suggesting some people were well and truly taking advantage of the birthday gesture (see above). 

Meanwhile, from the original Sathorn branch, where the deal ran from 7-9am, we received the following dispatch: "I arrived at 8:54am and could hardly squeeze in. Most of the people came for takeaways. Win motorcy, too. Plenty of space to sit." The line was cut at 9am sharp.
