Cuisines collide with dishes from Napol “Joe” Jantraget and Saki Hoshino.

Chefs Napol “Joe” Jantraget and Saki Hoshino from Samlor will be whipping up their no-frills comfort food at Jam Jam Eatery and Bar at ASAI Bangkok Chinatown this Mar 22-23.

The duo will take over the kitchen and redefine what you know—or think you know—about Thai and international cuisine through a 10-course dining experience called Coalescence.

For B2,900++ expect a massive collision of flavors and culinary techniques from Japanese and French cuisine—think Thai wagyu beef tartare, caramelized chili miso, hay-roasted chicken breast served in panang curry sauce with cashew nuts, and roaster grouper with mushrooms and black pepper jus. Chef Hoshino, meanwhile, will oversee the sweets.

There are also curated drinks by wine experts from Wine Garage with a funky soundtrack from Beam’s resident DJ Pragueputth.

For reservations: Tel. 02-220-8999. ASAI Bangkok Chinatown hotel. 531 Charoenkrung Rd. MRT Watmangkorn.  Mar 22-23. 6pm-11pm.
