Samrub Samrub Thai, the perpetually-booked Charoenkrung hotspot, is getting a second location, at least for a little while. From now through Oct 2021, the red-hot restaurant is taking over Spice Market at the Anantara Siam.

Spearheaded by chef Prin Polsuk, one of Bangkok’s most creative Thai chefs, Samrub Samrub Thai (aka Samrub for Thai) focuses on preserving and reinterpreting traditional Thai cooking methods, techniques, and forgotten ingredients into seasonal menus of classic dishes dating back to the reign of King Rama VI.

At Spice Market, you’ll be able to get five-course lunch menus (B1,100) and a choice of seven- or 10-course dinner menus (B2,300/B2,800).

Dishes here include raw cured fish with mustard green and mint, southern grilled chicken with coconut cream, sour fruit relish with shrimp paste and dried prawn served with fresh fruit and vegetables, and grilled fish with turmeric. Also on the menu is chef Prin’s show-stopping, traditional beef curry.

Reservations can be made via email at dining.asia@anantara.com or by phone at 02-126-8866
