Here's another excuse to head down to db Bistro Moderne, not that you need one.

They'll be hosting a four-course Borthwick Estate wine dinner ($128) on November 8, 7:30pm, where you can look forward to the company of the founder's great grandson, Paddy Borthwick.

Of course, there will also be dishes crafted by chef Stephane Istel, including pan-seared seabass with beurre blanc, accompanied by a 2010 Chardonnay, as well as organic roasted chicken breast vol-au-vents, paired with 2002, 2005 and 2009 Pinot Noirs.

Book yourself a spot quick. For more information, see Borthwick Estate Wine Dinner.
