Chin up.

With the city in semi lockdown, many Bangkokians are starting to feel the toll of social isolation. That's where Luka Bangkok and Funky Lam's ongoing “Isolated but Never Alone” initiative comes in. In a post to sister-branch Luka Moto's Facebook page on Mar 30, they announced that they will be comforting those who are feeling down by sending out free meals with a note reminding them that they are not alone.

Customers can nominate a neighbor, family member, colleague or friend by simply hitting up Luka on Facebook or Line @lukabangkok with the name, address and an explanation on the situation of the person they wish to cheer up. Luka will then deliver selected nominees a comforting meal and a kind message.

While Thonglor's Luka Moto is currently closed, the brunch favorite's Pan Road branch is open for delivery. You can order items like the breakfast burrito (B350), avocado open-face sandwich (B280), carrot cake (B135) and turmeric latte (B140), with offering free delivery to nearby locations and 15 percent off collection orders. Contact them via 02-637-8558, Line @lukabangkok or WhatsApp (091-886-8717) to place an order.

For a taste of Funky Lam's fiery Lao fare, you can order delivery via phone (02-050-0469) or Line and WhatsApp (099-005-8435). Check out their menu on the website.
