Fresh out of Blighty, McManus Brothers Oyster Bar has arrived at Thonglor's 72 Courtyard.

After 10 years pleasing crowds at prestigious London markets like Borough, Portobello, Spitalfields and Covent Garden, the seafood specialist is now bringing its classic prosecco and oysters combo to Bangkok on the ground-floor terrace of the buzzing nightlife complex.

These seafood slingers are recognizable for their Victorian-era style pushcart, as co-founder Darren McManus explains: "Oysters used to be food for the poor. We would like to bring the accessibility back to people. They don't have to only visit restaurants to enjoy great oysters."

You'll be glad to hear that also translates to pocket-friendly prices for the high-end treat: Maldon Rock (U.K.) and Kumamoto (Japan) oysters are available for B139/piece, B699/half-dozen and B1,199/dozen, while Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco D.O.C.G. is priced at B270/glass or B1,600/bottle.

Open from Mar 1. 72 Courtyard, G/F, 72 Sukhumvit Soi 55 (Thonglor), 063-714-6988. Open Tue-Sun 6pm-1am.
