This Japanese dessert cafe is collaborating with top Bangkok chefs
Keep rollin’
Kyoto-inspired ice cream roll specialist Kyo Roll En has teamed up with a handful of Bangkok’s top chefs to create one-off desserts available throughout April.
Gaggan Anand kicked things off last week with a mango and yuzu cheesecake roll, speckled with colorful polka dots and stamped with the words “Pick It Up”—a play on his famous dish, “Lick It Up.” Other chefs on the line-up include Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn of Le Du (through Apr 12)—who’s rolling out a decadent mille crepe creation with jackfruit and Chiang Mai chocolate (B750)—the Suhring twins (Apr 13-19) and Supaksorn Jongsri of Sorn (Apr 20-26). The collaborations are released on Mondays and each run for one week, with 50 rolls available per day.
