This artisanal pizza truck is back on Bangkok’s streets
It's the winter's ultimate truck-stop.
Massilia Pizza Truck has set up camp once again on Sala Daeng Road, dishing out artisanal wood-fired pizza to the masses.
A passion project of chef Luca Appino (La Bottega de Luca) and restaurateur Frederic Meyer (Issaya, Namsaah), the original Massilia Pizza Truck first hit Bangkok’s streets in 2015 to wild success. After bidding adieu to focus on the opening of two Massilia restaurants in Phloen Chit and Sukhumvit, the team has finally gone back to its truckin’ roots in time for the cool season.
Massilia’s commitment to using fresh European produce elevates it beyond the standard food truck grub. Keep things simple with the Bufalina (B390)—an amped-up margherita with DOP Buffalo mozzarella, Italian basil and exceptional dough—or step things up with Italian offerings like culatello salami (B490) and black truffle mortadella (B490), plus seasonal specials.
We particularly recommend the chorizo bellota (B490), with smoked scamorza cheese, and the homemade cooked ham and mushroom (B420).
