80/20 and Vesper collaborate for a Thai feast with paired cocktails
Two Bangkok favorites. Eight courses. Eight cocktails. One night.
Talad Noi’s innovative fine-dining restaurant 80/20 has teamed up with Soi Convent’s beloved drinking den Vesper for an eight-course Thai-cuisine dinner paired with eight cocktails.
For The Art of Thai Cuisine’s menu Chef Napol Jantraget of 80/20 works his usual magic to combine modern cooking techniques with rare, locally-sourced ingredients. The dishes will be complemented with cocktails of a similarly local palate by Supawit “Palm” Muttarattana, the group bar manager of the Vesper family.
Expect the likes of yam krob krob (spicy salad of crispy herbs and seafood with cashew nuts) paired with a beer cocktail, or the moo satay (slow-cooked pork belly in satay spices with toasted peanuts and a burned bread sauce) paired with a cocktail inspired by ajard (the sweet, clear sauce of cucumbers and red onions that’s usually served with satay).
The dinner available for one night only, Feb 19, split into two rounds at 6:30pm and 8:30pm, and B3,300 per person with cocktail pairing. For reservations, please call 099-118-2200.
Taking place at 80/20,1052-1054 Charoen Krung Soi 26, 099-118-2200
