10010 Bar
Tucked away inside Charoennakorn Soi 10, this ice cream cafe is all about bold, elaborate, fanciful flavors—think Chinese cough syrup, nam pla waan (sweet fish sauce), or squid ink ice cream that will literally turn your teeth black. Putting the weird flavors aside, 10010 bar also excels in what they do; we also love their dark chocolate sorbet—not too thick but still retaining its silky texture. Don’t miss their freshly-baked kouign-amann and canelé.
100 Charoen Nakhon Soi 10. Open Wed-Sun noon-8pm.
For 8 years, this ice cream joint has captured Bangkok hearts with its vibrant, artisanal flavors and natural ingredients. Since then, Guss Damn Good has expanded its repertoire all over the city, with the new additions like a branch dedicated to sundaes at Guss Sundae Bar (The Commons Saladaeng) and recently opening soft serve ice cream at Emquartier’s Cassette Music Bar. Head to the Commons Saladaeng and try the Apple Pie a la Mode (B180), which is made with their classic vanilla ice cream accompanied by apple compote, cookie crumbs, and caramel.
