This Aug 15, Nonthaburi’s Aussie-inspired urban oasis, Sweet Poppy, will be welcoming Sala Daeng’s awesome Eat Me for the ultimate barbecue feast.

Inspired by “A Day on the Green”—a popular Australian festival filled with food, drinks and live music—the event will make good use of Sweet Poppy’s lush garden, outdoor seating and kids’ playground. Eat Me’s Tim Butler and Bunker's Lorin Janita will also be taking the opportunity to reveal details of their latest project, Moohanakorn. Sample dishes from the soon-to-launch grill house, like grilled, gochujang-lacquered pork belly with kimchi and spring onion, and spicy jerk chicken legs. You can also expect snacks like corn on the cob dressed with chili, lime and cheese, and fritto misto, a mix of fried delights including squid, leek and onion, paired with lemon aioli. Don’t miss the all-American loaded wedge salad: iceberg lettuce topped with herbs, crispy bacon, egg, and ranch dressing.

Tickets cover food and are priced at B1,590, or B1,990 inclusive of two beers or glasses of wine (kids tickets are B300). For those who want to eat big, there will also be a supplement menu featuring Bafun uni tostadas (B900) with guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream, and Australian wagyu tomahawk (B4,500) served with corn on the cob and jim jaew sauce.

To go with all the delicious food, Eat Me’s bartender, Pop Direkrittikul, will be serving some of his signature Thai-inspired cocktails like the Mieng Kham, Poppy Fizzy and Berry Smash, while music will come courtesy of Stuart Hawkins and his Jazz Ensemble followed by Boom from “The Voice Thailand” and his band.

In order to maintain social distancing, numbers for this event are limited, so bookings are highly recommended. To book, head to Sweet Poppy’s website or call 020-055-206.
