Although Taan remains temporarily closed for dine-in, the Thai fine-dining restaurant has now diversified its tasty delivery menu with limited-edition, traditional pinto (tiffin carrier) lunchboxes. Packed with ingredients sourced from small-scale and sustainable farms and suppliers from around Thailand, the lunch sets each feature five dishes plus sides.

Available as a two-person set (B1,850), the lunch includes: Baan Singha-style braised beef or pork cheek clear soup; Surat Thani river prawns in Thai pot omelet with fragrant basil and shallots; sweet and smoky krill-marinated grilled pork neck from Khon Kaen; peppery yellow curry with toasted Chumphon crab; Royal Project organic black chicken stir-fried with umami-rich garlic, baby squid from Surat Thani and a crab reduction; sides of steamed organic rice from Yasothorn, seasonal vegetables and bitter bean chili dip; and a refreshing pandan mousse tart with ginkgo, longan meringue, coconut jelly, palm seed, Job’s tears and longan crumble for dessert. You also get to keep the pinto, which you can reuse time and again to reduce waste.

The pinto sets are available every day from 11am-7:30pm, starting from May 8, with free delivery within 15km for orders over B1,000. They must be ordered three hours in advance via 065-328-7374 or Line @taanbangkok.
