Charoenkrung’s rising-star restaurant sticks to its concept of using as many local ingredients as possible in dishes that go beyong your average eggy fare. The 80/20 Benedict (B220) sees beetroot-cured snapper and wilted local spinach on slices of house baguette, which is then finished with a flavorful, aromatic dill hollandaise. A unique coconut dressing stars in the classic local greens salad dish (B140), while you can expect some nice, thick house-brined Canadian bacon, runny fried egg, garlic aioli and rich brioche in the Peameal bacon sandwich (B190). If you decide to go sweet, try the all-house-made soy yogurt parfait (B50) with roselle jam and coconut granola, or buckwheat pancake with Canadian maple syrup. Also try the mung bean drink (B70).

Langsuan’s premium Japanese restaurant has marked its second anniversary by rolling out two all-you-can-eat deals. On weekdays a 90-minute all-you-can-eat sushi deal (B2,559 per person) runs from 11:30am-2:30pm. But we recommend you live out your sushi dreams with the Sunday brunch deal (B4,500 per person). The 90-minute brunch features a bigger selection of nigiri sushi, including otoro (fatty tuna), salmon belly, scallop, wagyu and uni, as well as dishes like baked half lobster, grilled yellowtail collar, fresh oysters and wagyu donburi (fillet steak rice bowl). Prices include soft drinks but an extra B799 will get you free-flow booze. Seats are limited. Reservations required.

The barbecue specialist’s Thonglor venue now offers up a weekend menu that combines familiar appetizers and salads with some superb new eggy and sweet dishes. Expect hearty items like Uber Eggs (B495), three scrambled eggs with Parmesan, truffle and black garlic sauce, sauteed mushrooms and baby asparagus, topped with pulled braised beef cheek and served with sourdough; and the bacon and pate pancakes (B435), three pancakes with chicken liver pate, grainy mustard, crispy bacon, fried egg, rocket salad and house-made duck rillettes. Top it all off with vanilla pancakes (B275), vanilla-whipped mascarpone, caramelized bananas, maple syrup and crushed pistachios.

Forget bacon, full-fat fry-ups or even an egg station; this brunch at Le Meridien’s Latest Recipe restaurant is big on sashimi and other fresh seafood, awesome detox juices and lean meats. (Don’t worry, there’s still pan-fried foie gras—if you don’t mind the judgmental stares.) Desserts highlight wholewheat waffles, vegan avocado chocolate tarts and fruittopped yogurt. In between return trips to the “shake-it-yourself” salad bar, you can get a BMI test and have a one-on-one consultation with BNH Hospital nutritionists or get some workout tips from the pack of swole dudes in True Fitness uniforms. Diners are also given a diet roadmap that suggests dishes based on conditions like high blood pressure or stress. B1,350 per person (including one Boston lobster per table).

Munch on as many claws as you want at this new brunch featuring an array of seafood, salads, sushi and a selection of lobster dishes. The resident chef uses Canadian-born Boston lobsters and cooks them up at live stations as lobster thermidor or even pizza and tom yum noodles. You’ll even get to taste lobster ice cream and lobster creme brulee, too. B1,800 (food only) per person. Free-flow wine and beer cost an extra B499.

This Melbourne-born Mexican bar-slashrestaurant is the latest spot at 72 Courtyard to now open in the light of day. The weekend brunch menu features full-flavored eggy dishes like frittata Mexicana (baked eggs with peppers, onions, oregano, chipotle mayo and cactus salad, B250) and huevos rancheros (grilled wagyu rump steak with two fried eggs, spiced black beans, pico de gallo, blackened serrano chili, avocado, cheese and tortillas, B880). For sweet tooths, there are pancakes (with cinnamon ice cream and dulce de leche, B250) and waffles with agave syrup, whipped t res leche and gooseberries (B250). Depending on your mood, wash it all down with a calming horchata (B195) or restart the party with a Bloody Maria (B275).

This B3,555 spread doesn’t just feature the usual bounty of lobster, oysters and foie gras, but also some touches we’ve never seen at a hotel brunch before: tomahawk steak and Cochinillo suckling pig, both charcoal-grilled on a Josper oven. OK, you don’t get the whole plate of either, but servers come around with both regularly, along with plenty of other little Spanish-leaning nibbles like jamon croquettes. You also get free-flow proper Champagne—G.H. Mumm, no less. On top of that, there’s free-flow Spanish Rioja, sangria, cava, Bloody Mary, daiquiri and margarita. Other highlights include 36-monthcured Joselito ham—self-described as the best Iberian ham in the world and usually B790 a plate—as well as a selection of ceviche, squidink paella, charcoal-grilled tenderloin steak and proper pasteurized cheeses. This 54th-floor restaurant at Centara Grand hotel also runs a weekly Saturday tapas brunch at B999.
