Wednesday (May 4)

ART: Good People, Good Words: Launch of World’s Most Renowned Pop-Up Shop

Occupying the upstairs floor of WTF Bar & Gallery from May 4-Jul 3, the shop showcases products which, in the words of its organizers, are “carefully curated and designed by their own designer” in a “clean white loft space, using Kinfolk as a role model.” So far, so Bangkok pop-up—if not for the wall plastered with a veiled, polka-dot likeness of one man with his own vocal opinions on who are and are not “good people.” Rest assured, though, you can actually take this stuff home, whether it’s a charming canvas tote bag or handcrafted enamel mug.

GIGS: Come On is Such a Joy Vol. 2

The second edition of this new indie music live series features some of the city's hottest rising acts, including Fwends, Matthew Fischer, Sasi, Triggs and the Longest Day (pictured) and Strange Brew. From 9pm, B400 (1 drink).

NIGHTLIFE: Manuel De La Mare

The Italian music producer and DJ whose beats combine elements of Italian dance rhythms, deep house tunes and minimal melodies takes the stage with support from DJ Sarayu.

NIGHTLIFE: Is This House?

Every Thursday at this club is dedicated to disco and house beats. This edition sees DJ Alex Imix and special guest American DJ Frank Richards take over the stage.

SPECIAL SCREENINGS: I Hate Pigeons X Documentary Club

The beer bar hosts a special film screening of Iris, the documentary following the life of 94-year-old fashion icon and interior designer Iris Apfel and her journey to success.

Friday (May 6)

NIGHTLIFE: Together Festival

One of the city's biggest EDM festivals returns for its fifth edition this year with huge international names including the British electronica duo Disclosure and American electro house DJ Steve Aoki as its headliners. They'll be joined by other big names including Andrew Rayel, Firebeatz, Galantis, Nervo and Tohamt for an unforgettable night of quality electronic dance
music.

NIGHTLIFE: Phatfunk Drum & Bass

DJ D-Goose, resident DJ at Koh Phangan's full moon parties, takes over the night with rolling beats, jazzy vibes and heavy basslines. He'll be supported by DJs Azek, DeLorean and Instinct.

NIGHTLIFE: Ordinary 2016

ART: Humans of Flower Market

The popular Facebook page which captures the recently shut-down Pak Khlong Talat flower market's stall owners and visitors exhibits their best photographs, accompanied by quotes from the subjects.

NIGHTLIFE: Sameed

The Manchester-based producer and DJ known for his funky bass melodies hosts a night of dance music including house, funk, techno and boogie. He'll be joined by Vietnamese DJ Hibiya Line and British DJs Seelie and Persual.

NIGHTLIFE: Blast Pool Party

This pool party series focuses on brigning the best of techno-house music to the deck from DJs Adiero, Nukier and Shubostar. Tickets are B400 with a buy one get one free promotion before 4pm.

ART: Clay Shaping Our Happiness

Japanese clay artist Kimiko Oka and her daughter present their collection of pottery and decorative homeware, ranging from plates to vases, created over the past four years.

DESIGN: Encounter Culture
