On Nov 16, James Beard Award-winning chefs Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette are heading back to their old Bangkok stomping grounds at 72 Courtyard, slinging pizzas and pouring pints at Carbar with culinary partner-in-crime Arnie Marcella (former chef at Bunker, now food and beverage director at the Thonglor community space).

From 6-9pm, the three are preparing classic and off-the-menu pizzas and serving free-flow pints of beer (B850++/person). They swear they won’t be stopping at 9pm, either, so come prepared.

Oringer and Bissonnette, for the unfamiliar, are the masterminds behind Boston restaurant landmarks Coppa, Toro and Little Donkey. They brought Toro to Bangkok back in 2016. That restaurant has since closed, but the duo has come full circle—their second branch of Little Donkey has just opened at 72 Courtyard under the stewardship of Top Chef Thailand competitor Steve Doucakis.

Go for the pizza and beer, come back for globally inspired sharing plates at Bangkok’s Little Donkey.

The Carbar carb party has limited spots. Call 02-392-6922 or email info@carbarbkk.com to book in advance.
