Why do it on the couch in your shorts when you can do it under the stars?

If Films at the Fort is too pricey or too arty for you, Chijmes' outdoor movie nights are back. They're super Hollywood, and they're free.

The heritage building has an action-packed roster with two movies from the Taken series screening this Aug 21-22 (7:30pm). First off, there's Taken 2 (Aug 21) where Liam Neeson plays retired CIA agent Bryan Mills and is tasked to rescue his kidnapped daughter. And if you decide to come back on Saturday, they'll be screening Taken 3 (Aug 22), the continuation of the series where ex-agent Mills' wife is brutally murdered and he is framed for the act.

Plus, you can sit in on the action for free as long as you purchase food and drinks from the Highlander booth. They'll be dishing out bites (from $5) Scottish salmon gravlax salad, sausage platters and grampian stovies with gravy, as well as drinks like wine, beers and spirits all for $10.
