Aiming to help promote a better understanding of the Thai film industry, the Thai Film Archive organization invites students and anyone interested in exploring the history of Thai cinema to join a talk titled 'Thai Cinema from Now until Then' every Sat 10am-5pm from Feb 2-Mar 16 at the Thai Film Archive (94, Moo 3, Salaya. 02-482-2013 www.fapot.org). Up for discussion will be the first 100 years of local cinema since the first Thai film, Nang Sao Suwan, released in 1897, through to the beginning of the new wave of production in 1997.
