Aimed at showcasing short films and documentaries that make statements about the future of Thailand and its politics, Thai Aurora at The Horizon by Streamline Film will screen 14 political shorts by 15 Thai filmmakers at two venues this month. 

It will start this Saturday, Jun 15, at TK Park (8/F, CentralWorld, 4 Ratchadamri Rd., 02-268-8888, B20 entry), before it’s held again on Jun 22 at The Reading Room (2 Silom Soi 19, 02-635-3674). Education Suicide (10 min)
Karnchanit Posawat questions if civil disobedience can or may already exist in the Thai education system.

The Taxi Meter (5 min)
Natpakhan Khemkhao explores conflicting political viewpoints inside a taxi between the driver and the passenger.

Here Comes the Democrat Party (3 min)
Artist and film-maker Chulayarnnon Siriphol uses footage of the protests to compose a music video.
 
Introducing Post Thailand (6 min)
A man encounters an unexpected incident while watching the news on TV at home, by Nuttawat Attasawat.
