There’s good news for Pharm Rangsi fans after all, as he also has a new film in the pipeline under his newly-founded production house Parmpicture. Set to premiere next March, Sayong Songbuntud (Horror in Two Lines) involves the ghosts and spirits of Thai li gae (traditional dance performers). Judging from its tagline, “I’ll bite, I’ll eat, I’ll eat your whole body,” we’re expecting it to get pretty gory. And while we’re sure the cinematography will be pleasing on the eye, we can only hope that Pharm has learned from Pawnshop that character development and narrative logic have their place in film, too.
