The Italian Embassy is screening a selection of 15 Italian films plus two films from Thai director, Pen-ek Rattanarueng, from Jun 8-12, at SFX Cinema (6/F, The Emporium, Sukhumvit Rd., BTS Prom Phong). The movies are in Italian with English and Thai subtitles. The line-up includes the following: Manuale d’Amore (2011): Youth, maturity and beyond seen through the amorous adventures all witnessed by a cupid-cab driver; Una Vita Tranquilla (2010): Rosario Russo starts a new life in Frankfurt until his past comes back to haunt him; Mine Vaganti (2010): The youngest member of a pasta-making family announces he’s gay at a family celebration; Dieci Inverni (2010): A love story about a couple in transition from youth to adulthood.
