SCG Young Thai Artist Award Winner and current member of the Electric Eel Films, Wichanon Somumjarn has now announced his second full-length film project, Beer Girl, after his first movie In April the Following Year, There Was a Fire (2012) received a great response from touring around the world. Beer Girl is the story of a 20-year-old Isaan girl who waits table in her hometown to support her family. Then she meets Bee, a bar manager, who inspires her to move to Bangkok. The project is currently in the process of raising funds and plans to start shooting in 2014.
