First Love

Hot from kicking off his career as Khunchai Putthipat in the TV soap opera Suphap Buruj Juthathep, Jirayu “James” Tangsrisuk has made the leap onto the silver screen in First Love. Director Pitak Panprem’s first full-length film follows the story of Namnan (Jirayu), a normal guy who falls in love with aspiring ballroom dancer Pakbung (Keeratika). As it’s the first time Namnan’s found love, he does all he can to help Pakbung achieve her dream, not knowing their relationship might not last the distance. In cinemas Sep 12.

Ter Khao Rao Phee (Threesome)

The same day (Sep 12) sees Insects in the Backyard director Thanwarin Sukhahisit return to the screen with the surreal rom-com-slash-horror Ter Khao Rao Phee (Threesome). The film follows a love triangle where a girl must choose between her dream guy who doesn’t even exist (he’s a ghost) or a simple guy who may not be as straight-forward as she thinks.
