Earlier this year, Paragon Cineplex screened a recording of The Phantom of The Opera played at the Royal Albert Hall. Following its positive reception, they are putting together a Broadway Week for the first time through Jun 27, with daily screenings at 8pm. The four shows include:

Memphis: Winner of multiple Tony Awards in 2010, including Best Musical, this David Bryan and Joe Dipietro production follows the blues and r n’ b movement during the 1950s when a white DJ, Dewey Philips, began playing black music. (Jun 16, 20, 22, 24 and 27)

Jekyll & Hyde: Adapted from the 19th century novella, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, written by Robert Louis Stevenson, the musical portrays a Victorian doctor battling to control his personality’s dark and primal side. Produced by Frank Wildhorn, Leslie Bricusse and Cameron Mackintosh. (Jun 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 and 26)
Smokey Joe’s Café: A musical revue of some 40 pop standards produced by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stroller. (Jun 18)

Put It Together: Another musical revue, Broadway’s longest running, with songs by award-winning composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. (Jun 25)
