The hotel chain has kickstarted a charity drive to encourage guests to keep fit: they'll lend you gear, give you running maps and are even hiring a running concierge!

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Asia Pacific has just launched a charitable sports initiative, inviting guests to work out for a good cause.

The ‘runWESTIN. Work Out. Do Good’ charity drive (February 21-April 30) ties in with the hotel's new gear lending program with New Balance, whereby guests can borrow New Balance shoes and apparel for a nominal fee. The hotel also provides maps with 5-8km running routes (that are cleverly structured around local attractions and landmarks) to encourage guests to lace up and go the distance.

As part of the cause, the hotel will donate a brand new pair of New Balance kicks to Soles4Souls for every 20 guests who borrow the New Balance gear, or request for runWESTIN running route maps. Guests can also participate in the charity campaign by writing personalized messages to the charity's beneficiaries—those with the best messages stand to win a pair of New Balance shoes, too (that's a lot of shoes, if you ask us!).

That's not all—the hotel is also searching for its first ever on-site runWESTIN Concierge, who will lead guests on runs, and share running and wellness advice. The concierge will also get the chance to represent The Westin Singapore in two local runs (beginning with the upcoming Sundown Marathon) and one overseas marathon. So, if you're an avid, charismatic runner who's looking for a meaningful job switch, be sure to email [email protected].
