It’s all part of The LET'S CELEBRATE 2020: 'The BIG Holiday’ at Central Embassy

Central Embassy is celebrating the holiday season throughout December until January with the latest edition of its annual Christmas bash, LET’S CELEBRATE 2020: ‘The BIG Holiday’. This year is extra special, as it was brought to life by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), a world-class architecture firm from Denmark that’s renowned for its ability to transform spaces. Here, that includes a bunch of cool-looking Christmas trees that were launched at The Big Christmas Tree Illumination on Dec 13. You can still see them around the shopping center, as well as the can’t-miss highlight, a 12-meter-tall architectural gem called STACK.

There is a massive, 5,000-meter Christmas ribbon (yes, that’s five kilometers) that flows through the whole event area, meant to symbolize friendship and warmth during the holiday season. If you stretched the ribbon out, it would get you a little more than halfway up Mount Everest—in fact, tired together, it’s said to be the longest in the world. The ribbon weaves its way through some special architecture designed specifically for the event, starting at the skywalk at BTS Phloen Chit station and spanning all seven levels of Central Embassy. There are activities on each level (see below) and by participating in the event you have a chance to win an Audi TT Coupe, valued at B3.299 million, sponsored by Audi Thailand, starting today until Jan 5, 2020.

Highlights across each floor at Central Embassy:

Level G

Elves’ Playground — a bouncy, elf-themed park for children.

Elves’ Xmas Factory — hosting workshops to make personalized gifts, like key cases and clay pieces

The ICE bar by Cold Stone — mix and match flavors to make your own ice cream!

Level 2

Christmas Café by Stickhouse — Exotic beverages and ice cream flavors

The Sound of Christmas — DJs spin Christmas beats every Fri-Sun, 1-3pm and 4-7pm

Level 3

Little Architects — a large lego pond for the little ones to make their own lego masterpieces

Level 4

The Music Box — acoustic music every Fri-Sun between 12pm-1pm, 3pm-4pm and 6pm-7pm from Dec 20 to Jan 1.

Tons of different Christmas activities will be happening here, including workshops to make homemade presents, and a “Santa’s Mailbox” that helps you send charming Christmas messages to your loved ones. You can also grab a drink on the terrace with live bands between 7-11pm from Dec 20 to Jan 1.
