Singapore's first zombie run to take place on Sentosa in October
It's not yet clear whether the undead are exempt from the island entry fee.
Already a popular concept elsewhere in the world, Singapore's first zombie obstacle run is coming soon to Sentosa. Titled Race the Dead, the 5k run kicks off at 10am on October 26, just in time for Halloween. Early registration saw plenty of the slots filled; but it seems the organizers will be opening up more very soon. Find out more at www.racethedead.com.sg.
And here's what they have to say on their Facebook page:
This Halloween a Zombie Apocalypse is taking over Singapore!
Olympus has fallen and the last line of defence is our fort.
Survivors are warned not to make any attempt to hide, but run as fast as you can, to our last line of defence.
Brace yourselves as the evacuation route that is planned will be an arduous one, looming with different obstacles along with clusters of dead walkers waiting for a chance to grab a piece of you.
